CWC Newsletter November 2025Already November! A few updates for you… Post-Secondary Education MeetingSince 2021, Culture Works Canada has collected data through reports, in-person monitoring, and surveys, to measure the effectiveness of the Student Work Placement program. In October, a meeting was hosted with post-secondary education (PSE) institutions who have had students participate in the program. This meeting was to present a report on the information and insights into the job readiness of their students. Culture Works Canada looks forward to continued discussions with PSEs to better support the future workforce in our sector. After 1000+ internships across the country, 754 student exit surveys are available for analysis purposes. 96.9% of students expressed being Satisfied and/or Very Satisfied by their placement.
90.3 % of students felt their PSE program prepared them for the market.
93.8% felt that the internship was an opportunity to apply their PSE curriculum.

CWC On the RoadEarlier this month, our Executive Director was invited to Montreal to attend an event hosted by Réseau Culture 360. Réseau Culture 360 represents more than 4,500 artists, artisans, writers, arts and cultural organizations throughout the province, and their mission is to coordinate, represent and support the councils for culture to promote the artistic and cultural vitality of Quebec's territories. The focus of the event was to reaffirm their commitment to local culture across Quebec, while calling on candidates for the upcoming municipal election to become more committed with the cultural vitality of their city. Thank you to Réseau Culture 360 for your hospitality and being a key player that contributes to the full expression of Quebec’s cultural life.
Individual Revenue SurveyCulture Works Canada has gathered numerous responses to the 2024 survey. The first edition collected just over 200 responses; we are pleased to see that the 2024 questionnaire has a 50% higher response rate. Thank you to all those who participated and/or helped distribute through your networks.
