CHRC is pleased to announce that its Talent to Lead (T2L) program www.talenttolead.ca has received support from the Canada Council for the Arts to offer a 4th edition of the project. T2L will focus on selecting 20 cultural managers from indigenous, racialized and Official Language minority language communities across Canada to participate in the program. Deadline for application extended to February 14, 2020.

To all Canadian arts and culture sector workers, employers and organizations, the Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) is proud to announce the release of the 2019 Labour Market Information study (LMI) of Canada’s cultural workforce. This study was undertaken in collaboration with the Conference Board of Canada (CBoC); and was funded by the Government of Canada's Sectoral Initiatives Program.

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit expressions of interest from qualified consultants in developing a reporting mechanism for harassment in arts workplaces in Canada, in both English and in French.

The Cultural Human Resources Council is launching a search over the summer to replace its long time ED, Susan Annis, who is leaving the position in September.

After a year of rolling out tools to help artists, cultural workers and employers/Board members prevent workplace harassment in the arts, CHRC is now preparing to deliver Workshops on Maintaining Respectful Workplaces, building on these resources.
