The Creative City Network of Canada (CCNC) in collaboration with the Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) and Les Arts et la Ville (LAV) is accepting proposals in response to this RFP to source consulting services for Phase One of our two-phase project, Cultural Resiliency: Using Innovation to Stabilize in Times of Crisis.

First, we are happy to announce that CHRC has secured a second round of funding from Heritage to offer another 50 Respectful Workplaces in the Arts workshops in this new fiscal year! Second, our Talent to Lead’s 4th edition has been launched in both French and English thanks to funding from the Canada Council for the Arts.

CHRC is concerned with the direct impact of the COVID situation; we know that a large proportion of contracts and revenue streams have simply been cut off since social/physical distancing measures have been implemented. CHRC is working with sector partners to bring you resources to help as many as possible, as fast as possible.

This is a time when we can do things differently and prove yet again that no matter what happens, artistic life will continue. While we may not be able to meet in person, we’ve seen the conversations come up on social media: this is the perfect time for people to pick up a book, paint, practice an instrument, etc. The current information age provides us with opportunities to continue interacting with students, deliver podcasts or live shows.
